Terms & Conditions

Upon payment, an agreement is entered into between the individual paying for the service (hereafter referred to as "the customer") and SELTI International, which is owned and operated by SELTI Hungary Kft., with registered office at: Garay utca 37 fsz 4, Budapest 1076, Hungary (hereaftered referred to as "SELTI").

1. SELTI commits to providing English language tutoring services to the customer. The amount of services rendered depends on the quantity and type of services specified by the customer.

2. SELTI shall keep record of the customer's purchases, and these shall not expire, until they are used for tutoring services. However should there be no activity on the customer's account for a period of two years, their account shall be cancelled after SELTI makes all reasonable attempts to contact the customer.

3. Any changes in the price schedule for SELTI services shall be communicated to the customer with one month's notice. Changes in the price schedule will have no impact on services the customer has already purchased.

4. SELTI is responsible for ensuring the professional delivery of services offered, including but not limited to, ensuring that tutors have the necessary qualifications to deliver English language tutoring services. Should SELTI's services fail to meet professional standards, SELTI will compensate the customer, either by crediting the customer’s account or providing monetary compensation, up to the value of services delivered.

5. All tutoring sessions shall be arranged at least 24 hours in advance upon agreement between the tutor assigned by SELTI and the customer. Any notice of cancellation must be given at least 12 hours before the agreed time for the session. If the customer cancels their lesson within this 12 hour time period, the lesson shall be charged as if the lesson had happened. If SELTI cancel the lesson, lesson fees will be refunded or the customer’s account will be credited, depending on the customer’s preference.

6. SELTI shall establish a customer account based on the email address first provided by the customer when registering. The customer should use this account in all communications with SELTI, and shall inform SELTI of any changes. SELTI shall not share these details, or any other details, with any third parties, without the express prior permission of the customers.

8. The customer shall not make any attempt to receive tutoring services directly from tutors of SELTI, without first going through SELTI. Doing so constitutes grounds for immediate cancellation of this agreement, and the customer shall be entitled to no refunds.

9. The customer may cancel this agreement at any time. The customer shall be entitled to a refund proportinate to the amount of services paid for, but currently unused in their account.

10. These terms and conditions form an agreement under Hungarian law, and do not limit the customer's or SELTI's rights under legislative and common law. Consumer protection laws apply.

11. Payment of the service fee constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. No changes shall be made to these terms without the express prior consent of both the customer and SELTI.
